OAKLAND – Please join the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA), and local leaders for the 2015 Bay Area Employer Forum on Friday, March 20, 2015.  This free open forum will educate employers about the benefits of hiring from the vast pool of trained, certified former offenders.  Topics of discussion will include cost-saving work opportunity tax credits, reducing recruitment and training costs, and fidelity bonding options to protect business assets.  Employers will also get to hear from businesses who have already taken advantage of this skilled workforce.
